I have been fortunate enough to have had the pleasure of working with P.J. McMahon since the early 1970’s, and he has proved an invaluable source of experience and knowledge with my yard of polo ponies over the last 30 + years. He is a consistent provider of reliable, trustworthy expertise and his on-call services are second to none. He is equally as brilliant with the injuries picked up during the summer months when the ponies are playing, as he is with the ailments procured during the winter months. With 150+ horses here in his care, he is fast, efficient and his attention to detail is phenomenal, whilst his diagnostic abilities are, in my opinion, the very best. He is ably assisted by a wonderful team of staff - his administration team are organised and easy to communicate with, whilst the vets who work alongside him are always to the highest standard. He has proved a tremendous source of talent within the veterinary sphere and a large number of successful vets in the local area learnt their trade from him. P.J. has, since I’ve known him, always been to the forefront of the latest technologies available within the veterinary world, and his mobile equipment reflects this. He has always had my full trust and I know that my horses are receiving the very best possible care under his guidance.

I have been with P J McMahon MRCVS and his lovely Team, for some years now. My vet is the lovely, Marco-however ALL the Team are wonderful . I have had PJ a few times too, during very sad times and All the Team have been so kind, supportive and friendly. Also very rare is that they listen to" YOU" the owner, and they are very happy to work with YOU, ON YOUR ideas and thoughts.
